Nighttime attacks in the rural parts of Idlib province continue. A number of villages in the Jabal Az-Awiya region are coming under machine gun and tank fire from security forces. I was on the phone with a friend and could literally hear gunfire over the phone. I am also being told that there is a split in the security forces near one of the villages in this region and a firefight between the two opposing sides is currently in the process.
