LCC Update: 11 Dead in Syria Today, All in Homs or Idlib so Far

The number of dead in Syria today reached to 11 among them is one woman and a child- deaths are in Homs and Idlib.

Homs Province:
Demonstrations are taking place in most areas in Homs and security forces are firing in Hamra and Insha'at Street. Killing of Omar Safok under torture in prison, he was detained about two weeks ago, his dead body was delivered to his family today with brutal marks of torture on it.

Talbiseh: Martyrdom of Laila Al Sarmini, 45 year old by a sniper gunfire while she was standing in front of her house in Al Masjar Al Shamali neighborhood

Deraa Province:
Harak: A demonstration went out from Omari mosque chanting for the Syrian National Council and to topple the regime.

Daeel: More than 2,500 protesters started from the central street in the direction of Freedom Square to conduct a sit-in and to demand the freedom of the detainees.

Amouda: The sit-in since this afternoon has now become a massive demonstration chanting for toppling of the regime and demanding the release of detainees.

Damascus Province:
Damascus Suburbs
Kesweh: Security forces launched a raids of homes and arresting campaign in the city, Mohammad Yousef Al-Naddaf was identified from the detainees.

Daraya: The Air Force Intelligence branch has arrested the young man Bilal Abu Laban, 26 years old, after raiding and looting the private library that he works in. They also stole the money that was in the register. Bilal is a graduate of Arab literature, and he studied in some of Daraya's schools.

Idlib Province:
Kafar Owaid: martyrdom of young Zakaria Abdo Al-Zaher (25 years old) under the torture he suffered since he was detained in 15-9, his body was delivered to his family today, and Zakaria is student in the faculty of literature- Department of Arabic Language in the third year.

Al'Rami: Many wounded, some of them critically, by heavy gunfire in the village of Rami after dozens of soldiers defected. Security forces are combing through the surrounding lands, raiding homes and threatening to arrest activists' families. Security forces and the Army also stormed the villages of Shanan, Serja, and Kafr Haya.
