LCC Update: Roundup From Around Syria for Saturday- 13 Dead, Hasakeh Province Explodes in Protest Over Death of Mashaal Tammo

The number of dead today in Syria reached to 13, 5 in Qamishli, 3 in Hama, 3 in Douma, Damascus Suburbs and 1 martyr each in Homs and Dumair, Damascus Suburbs

Aleppo Province:

Efreen: a demonstration in the city chanting to topple the regime and in solidarity with Mashaal Tammo.

Mare'e: A mass demonstration took off condemning the assassination of opposition member Mishaal Tammo and demanding putting the regime to a fair trial.

Tal Rifaat: A mass demonstration in the town demanding punishment of the assassins of Mishaal Tammo.

Damascus Province:
Damascus Suburbs: Arrests based on IDs in Kesweh and Sayeda Zainab

Dumair: Martyrdom of Mohamad Sayeh, 20 years old who was tortured to death after he was arrested.

Douma: Martyrdom of Tawfeq Al Mdoor a while ago. Martyrdom of Abdul Karim Mahjoub, he was injured few weeks ago when a solider shot him from one of the barricades.

Zamalka: A demonstration took off from Tawba mosque chanting for martyr Mishaal Tammo and for Douma and the other besieged cities and towns.

Deraa Province:

Demonstration in all of Jiza, Hirak and Kherbet Ghazaleh chanting for toppling of the regime and for martyr Mishaal Tammo. A nightly demonstration in Kateeba town by the people of Kateeba in addition to protestors who came from Kherbet Ghazaleh, chanting in solidarity with martyr Mishaal Tammo.

Nu’aima: A house-raiding campaign is taking place in Nu'aima village accompanied by heavy gunfire. Heavy random shooting while storming the town by security forces and shabiha after surrounding it, that was after a massive demonstration took place there condemning the assassination of Mashaal Tammo.

Deir Ezzour Province:

City of Deir Azzour: A demonstration in Hamidiah borough chanting for toppling of the regime and condemning the assassination of Mishaal Tammo.

Hama Province:

City of Hama: Several injured due to a heavy shooting in Jeser Al-Mezrab, Jebreen, near Al-Arbaeen roundabout, and Qusoo. Consecutive explosions in Al ANdalous and Mhata neighborhoods, associated with gunfire from machineguns, and intense movement of armored vehicles. Heavy gunfire in Aleppo road, Bayad, Tawnya and Hamidiah neighborhoods now.

Hasakeh Province:
More than 10,000 mourner took off from Qasmo mosque, and the people of Amouda are breaking Assad's statue while all the people of Derbassiyeh came out waiting for the funeral.


Qamishli: General Strike in the cities of Kurdish majority included general and private workplaces to mourn Mishaal Tammo. Gunfire on mourners in the city , demosntrations in Hasakeh and Girke lage cities. Martyrdom of Jamal Husain Husain who was born in Naf Korah village 1957, his dead body still in the National hospital. Martyrdom of Ismaeel Abd Al-Aziz after security forces opened fire on the mourners of martyr Mashaal Tammo and injury of three others, two of them are in
critical condition, and Farman Hospital needs blood from type A negative and O positive.

Hasakeh Security surrounded Mufti and Salhiah neighborhood and arrested 4 people by the security forces. Security forces disperse a mass demonstration and detain some of the protesters; one of the detainees is Jindar Abdulsalam.

Derbaseyeh: Around 30 thousand mourners are now in Mashaal Tammo's funeral.

Amouda: two "Zeel" military vehicles seen traveling from the town of Hasakeh in the direction of Amouda, carrying soldiers and may have arrived now to the international road. About hundred of armored vehicles and buses full of security forces and thugs are now surrounding the city and closing the road of Abu Thaher along with very heavy gunfire. Demonstrators bring down a statue of Hafez al-Assad and place barriers on the main road, where a large number of locals are assembling and blocking off the way in order to prevent the security forces from being able to access.

Homs Province:

City of Homs: Thousands participating in a candle demonstration in Bab Sbaa chanting for martyr Mashaal Tammo and supporting the Syrian National Council, the security forces are shooting on Farabai barricade to terrorize people. Massive demonstrations marched from several neighborhoods such as Bab Sibaa, Khaldeia, Qussour, Hamra, Wa'er, Tadmur and Howle city chanting for the martyr Mashaal Tammo and greeting Qamishli. Heavy shooting from machine guns by the security forces in Cairo Street and Bab Dreib neighborhood.

Qusair: Gunfire to disperse the protesters in the town.

Idlib Province:
Around 200 security cars and buses invading the eastern villages in Maret Noman. along with massive wave of raids and arrest in Farwan, Jarjanaz and Jaraky
Hasaka
Dereik (Malki): protesters are trying to topple the statue of Hafez Assad in the middle of the city, security forces and shabbeha are heading toward it to protect it.

Saraqeb: The army is invading the city of Saraqeb. Split in the military forces and gunfire exchange at the southern entrance of the city. A demonstration in Saraqeb despite the continued fighting between the military and the dissident soldiers at the southern entrance of the city.

Ariha: Two injured by security forces gunfire from Ariha barricade, they were kidnapped after being injured. A massive demonstration in Ariha chanting now for martyr Mashaal Tammo

Kfernubol: The military forces announced curfew today starting from 12am until 6am, after being attacked by the defected soldiers

Tartous Province:
Banyas: A demonstration is taking place on Ibn Khaldoun Street; security forces have stopped traffic along the main street and have launched a campaign of random arrests. Besieging the neighborhood of Ras Al-Nabe' and new security checkpoints have been set up on the bridge leading to the neighborhood.
