1:07am: A personal contact of mine called me and told me that his and a number of other smaller villages in the Idlib region of Jabal Az-Awiya have been completely surrounded by security forces and tanks and were about to be shelled en-masse. After he said this, the connection was lost. I am attempting to ascertain what the situation is now...
2:55am: Electricity has been cut to the entire Jabal Az-Awiya region. Activists say that many people have been killed but the situation is too dangerous to find out exactly who and how many.

2:05am: Eye witness says security forces are going village by village in search of Attorney General Adnan Bakkour. In his village he says alt least 15 building are either demolished or on fire from tanks, there is no way yet to know how many people have been killed.
