Syrian forces raided a village where former attorney general Adnan Bakkour was hiding under the protection of the Syrian opposition. Sources say that during the village raid two people were killed and a third critically wounded. Judge Bakkour was able to make his escape but was wounded in the process. He is current being moved to another undisclosed location by the opposition for his own protection. It is unclear whether Syrian forces were attempting to capture him or assassinate him.
