Another rumor activists heard was that the regime is hiring people to work for the Shabiha in the suppression of demonstrations like in the village of Qamhaneh, and these people are then sent to other areas outside their region to suppress protests so people do not recognize their faces, in return for salary that ranges between a thousand to five thousand Syrian pounds. Activists say that the regime is offering money as an incentive to get the poorest segments of Syrian society to join and fight for the Shabiha.

His uncle, Mahmoud Abdullah Moglaj died on Friday in the village at the hands criminal gangs sponsored by the regime.

Security forces arrested Bashar Al Abdul Salam Halabiyeh while on his return with his family from the village of Tumen to Hama at a roundabout where Bilal al-Habashi was arrested and his family were allowed to leave without him. Activists all announced that lawyer Nidal Ibrahim Hamoud was arrested on his way to work after making a speech in his town at a checkpoint located at the roundabout at the entrance to Western Hama. Mr. Hamoud is nearly forty years old and has two boys and a girl and a three-month-old child.
